International Cooperation  Department informs you about the announcement of call for master's degree students  at the Charles University in Prague

Administrative fee for online application (Application fee): CZK 640 (EUR 25 / USD 29) can be paid online or by Bank transfer using the following details:

List of documents:

1) notarized copy of Bachelor's degree diploma with description of all courses + notarized copy of the application (all documents must be translated into Czech or English);

2) a Preliminary draft of the future master's thesis (research Topic, rationale, work plan) no more than 900 words + specify the list of bibliography of the study. The project will be discussed during the interview. Candidates admitted to the second stage of the interview must provide a list of literature for reading.

Entrance examinations will be at the University in the Czech Republic.

Dates of entrance examinations: 26-27 may 2019 and 1-14 June 2019


1) Linguistic analysis of the English text (maximum 50 points);

2) Story about the motivation of training in this specialty (maximum 10 points);

3) Assessment of the use of English grammar and vocabulary (maximum 35 points)

Written examination:

1) writing an essay on a given topic

- grammar (from 1 to 10 points)

- evaluation of the context quality (from 1 to 40 points)

A candidate who has obtained a minimum of 50 points for the entrance examination in accordance with the number of points is allowed to study.

NOTE: the Presentation of a certificate of knowledge of the English language is not required.
