25.08.2016 Al-Farabi KazNU held an official meeting of the rector Mutanov G.M. with representatives of the Korean Consortium. Guests were represented by  Busan Technopark, Busan University, Institute of DIRAMS and Korea Telecom, headed by the Vice-President of Busan Technopark Kim Yong-SOK. During tsechi Mutanov G. M. noted that between our countries economic cooperation is developing  dynamically, universities should play an active role in the development of culture and science. Currently, KazNU in cooperation with the Korean Foundation (Korea Foundation) and the University of Hanyang implemented educational project Global E-School aimed at the development of Korean studies in KazNU.

 The guests noted that mostly they are working now on  developing health systems. 2 days ago the delegation held a seminar in Aktobe on this issue. In the morning they had a very productive meeting with Mr. An. E.A., "And now I would like to summarize the results of all these negotiations, I would like to start with the topic of telecommunications. Now you're finalizing apparatus, which everyone can carry with you and at any point you want to analyze the urine and the blood of his own. Thus, it would be the first step in the transition of curative health to preventive, and diagnosing diseases at early stages," said Mr. Kim Jong-Seok. -"We have studied the main health problems in Kazakhstan, the main of them werethe large percentage of deaths among children, a small life expectancy. The introduction of new information technologies in every hospital could help in solving these problems."
  The implementation of these projects is impossible without the participation of KazOIR (Oncology and Radiology). Also, in all directions, we will need the help and assistance of KazNU.  here was expressed a hope that the visit of Kazakh President to Korea in November will help in the implementation of the aforementioned projects.
