At the initial stage, it was announced that Europe is a good reference point and a few years ago, a large strategic program of the first President Elbasy “The Way to Europe” was functioning. In this direction, the higher education system is fully integrated and Kazakhstan has adopted the model of the European Union by signing the Bologna agreement. This model is fully adapted in Kazakhstan and repeats the European model. Kazakhstan has adopted the European model and other Central Asian countries continue to adhere to the European model – Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan. It was also mentioned about the three-stage training of specialists in doctoral, master's, and bachelor's degrees at the University. It was said about the support of the European Union and the Erasmus+ program, namely that the universities of Dag Hammarskjold and University of Split form a single Erasmus+ project. Doctoral students and undergraduates are ready to undergo foreign internships in the best universities in Europe. It was suggested that with their visit, Croatia would be more open to the citizens of Kazakhstan, which in turn would help determine with the main directions for dynamic cooperation with the benefit for the two States.

         For comparison, ten professors from Croatia taught in Kazakhstan within the Erasmus+ program, and three teachers from Kazakhstan teach in Croatia. Four students from Kazakhstan entered the undergraduate program at University of Split. The intention was expressed to continue cooperation in the field of medicine and IT technology. In addition, they discussed the possibility of exchanging experience, and not only exchange in the educational sphere.
